Berry, Ricky Wayne - 62 of Clementsport. It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ricky, at his home, on August 24, 2014. Ricky owned and operated Keith Berry & Son Ltd (machine shop). He loved his work and was a gifted machinist. He was a hard worker, dedicated family man, and was the first person in Nova Scotia to build and fly an amateur helicopter which currently resides in the Nova Scotia Aviation Museum. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, snowmobiling and being in the woods. Ricky is survived by his wife Edith (Bohaker), Clementsport; son, William "Bill" Berry (Debbie), Deep Brook; daughter, Tammy Ring (Kevin), Wilmot; son, Troy MacDonald (Shelly), Lequille; his mother Shirley (Vantassel) Berry, Clementsport; sister, Susan Woodman (Larry), New Minas; sister-in-laws, Joan Lloyd, Wolfville and Janice Street, Calagry; grandchildren, Justine Ring, Elizabeth and Jason Berry; nephews, Peter and Jonathan Woodman, Kevin Perkins; niece, Karma Kern. He was predeceased by his father Keith Berry. Visitation will be held 7-9 pm Thursday, August 28, in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. A private family funeral will be held in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal, with Rev. Randy Legassie officiating. Burial will follow in United Church Cemetery, Clementsport. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Ricky's memory may be sent to Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal or Bear River Fire Department.
