Jean Elaine Chipman passed away peacefully in Bridgetown, NS. She was the wife of Charles F. Chipman (deceased), daughter of Robert M. and Grace Fraser. She is survived by daughters Jan Chipman (Wayne Newhook) of Grafton, Sue Conrad Fall River, Ellen (Mike) Tancock Dartmouth, son Rob (Veronica) Chipman Dartmouth, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Jean was an active rug hooker and loved helping others with this amazing craft. She held an active membership with the Berwick Rug Hookers, and a number of other groups. She was a severe card player often astonishing others with last card capabilities. She was a member of the Aylesford United Church. Her years at the summer home in Musquodoboit Harbour were especially special to Jean and the close knit group of family and friends there. A celebration of her life will be held at the Aylesford United Church, (Hwy #1) Tuesday August 26th at 1:00 pm. reception to follow. A family internment will be held at a later date. Family flowers only.
