Fiske, Ella MacNeil, 89 of Middlefield, Queens Co. formerly of Lawrencetown, Anna. Co. died January 3, 2011 at Queens General Hospital, Liverpool with her husband Fred and family by her side. Born in Middleton on October 23, 1921 she was the youngest daughter of the late Lieutenant Edgar and Ella( MacNeil) Power. She was a member of the United Church in Middleton. In her younger years she enjoyed leisure activities like swimming and skating. She loved playing cards and telling a good joke. She worked in retail and also helped with the family farm in Clarence. She is survived by her husband Fred of Middlefield, Queens Co., formerly of Lawrencetown, sons: Edgar (Alice) of Dartmouth, Raymond (Debbie) of Middlefield; sister Edna Daniels; 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by an infant son David, son Donald Sutherland; sisters: Helen Hatfield and Florence MacNeil. Visitation will be held 7-9 Wednesday and funeral service 2:00 p.m. Thursday both from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. A reception will follow and then burial in Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown. Family flowers only.
