Sarty, Helen Maxine – 85, Bridgetown formerly of Parkers Cove, passed away November 2, 2014, in Mountain Lea Lodge, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Parkers Cove, she was a daughter of the late Elizabeth (Oliver) and Watson Hudson. Helen was devoted to her family and was a great cook. Her door was always open and enjoyed company stopping in. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, card games, animals and her pets. Helen is survived by her children, Stuart (Teresa Maston), Parker Mtn. Rd, Marsha (Bruce), Parkers Cove Paul (Wendy), Youngs Cove, Michael (Christine), Dalhouise and Diane (Lance), West Dalhousie; grandchildren, Matthew, Laura, Chassity, Mandy, Melanie, Christie, Cathy, Nathan, Kirby, Megan, Grace and Bradley; great grandchildren, Mikayla, Hayden, Austin, Madison, Riley, Jayla, Felicia and Kamryn; brothers, Max Hudson and Douglas Andrews. She was predeceased by her husband, Arden; infant son, Donald Arden; brother, Dennison Oliver and sister, Hester Cosman. Visitation will be held 7-9 pm Wednesday with a funeral service held 11:00 am Thursday, both from Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bridgetown, with Pastor Herb Anderson officiating.
