Obituary of Allen Wayne Stark

Stark, Allen Wayne - 58, of Plympton, passed away peacefully November 25, 2014, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital surrounded by those he loved. Born August 7, 1956, in Digby, he was the son of Dorothy (Lombard) and the late Horton Stark. Allen spent many of his working days in the fish plant. Some of the greatest joys of Allen's life were hunting and trapping, tending to his cattle and other barn animals, the great outdoors, as well as spending time with his friends and family. He was a man who was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Allen is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Melanson) Stark; son, Eric (Holly); mother, Dorothy; brothers, Keith (Sandra), LeRoy (Crystal), Malcolm (Carolyn), Rodney (Bonnie), Jeffrey (Nancy), Dwayne (Rose), Matthew, Glen (Debbie); sisters, Loretta (Dougie), Sandra (Raymond), Marlene (Owen), Alice (Donnie), Annette (Nelson), Virginia. He was predeceased by a sister, Sharon and a half sister, Ruth. There is no visitation by request. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Digby Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff White officiating. Interment will follow in the Gosson Cemetery, Plympton.
