Buckler, Lillian Odessa, 93, of Annapolis Royal passed away May 23, 2011, in the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. Born in West Dalhousie, she was a daughter of the late Arch and Elsie M. (McGowan) Buckler. Lillian will be remembered for her gracious personality and kind and caring way. Her passions were painting, making quilts, and she was a longtime member of the sewing circle in Moschelle. She was a resident of the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home, a former member of the Anglican churches in Granville Center and Moschelle. The last surviving member of her immediate family Lillian will be sadly missed by her dear friend Barbara Hogan. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her very close friend, Maude Weir. Visitation will be held Monday May 30, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until funeral service time at 6:00 p.m. in the Hillsburn United Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Aiken officiating. Burial will be in Wadeville Cemetery, Granville Center. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Wadeville Cemetery.
