Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Amirault

Amirault, Mary Elizabeth 103. of Meteghan and formerly of Granville Ferry died March 8, 2015 in the Villa Acadienne Nursing Home, Meteghan. Born in Meteghan, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Beatrice Comeau. Elizabeth was a dedicated member of the CWL for many years as well as the New Horizons Seniors Group of Port Wade. She was a seamstress and loved to travel, garden, to play Scrabble and do the daily Lexicon. Elizabeth is survived by her son, James Robert “Bob” (Lois) Amirault of Granville Ferry; grandsons, Daniel Robert (Jean), Norman Edward (Pamela), Andrew Stephen (Barbara); five great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren; sister, Loretta Colbert, Dartmouth. She was predeceased by husband, James Alden and son, in infancy; brothers, Desire, Albert, Dennis, Alphonsus, Leo and Adolph; sisters, Catherine, Celine, and Zoey, Cremation has taken place under the care of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal and there will be no visitation. Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Joseph Thomas officiating. Interment will be at later date. Family flowers only.
