Obituary of Terry William Greene

Greene, Terry “Bear” William, Dartmouth, NS passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of April 3, 2015 on his 56th birthday. Born in Digby, NS he was the son of Wallace & Alice (Tibbetts) Greene, Bear River. Terry moved out West in his younger years and worked at various jobs until his return to NS in the early 90's. He then worked at Halterm/Ceres Corp. until he became disabled in 2005. Terry was a kind and gentle soul who loved nature and all animals. He was often seen feeding crows, starlings and his favorite, Chico the raccoon. He chose to live a simple, easy life finding enjoyment in tying flies, recycling and seeking out special treasures for family and friends. The family wish to extend their sincere thanks to the kind folks in his Dartmouth neighborhood who helped Terry and watched out for him; you know who you are. He was well liked and will be missed. He is survived by parents Wallace & Alice Greene, Bear River; daughter Amanda Peck, Cornwallis;sisters:Brenda Hamilton,Toronto; Valerie Sweeney, Dartmouth; nephews Nigel Hamilton, Dartmouth; Adam Sweeney, Victoria,BC. Cremation has taken place. Funeral will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 2:00 pm, Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal with Rev. Earle Waterman officiating Committal at a later date.
