Obituary of Thomas Leslie Fairn

Fairn, Thomas Leslie, 65 of Moschelle, Annapolis County past away August 2, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. Born in Annapolis Royal he was a son of the late William and Doris (Wagstaff) Fairn. Tom was a past Warden of St. John’s Anglican Church , Moschelle and past Warden of the Parish of Rosette. He was a member of the Annapolis Royal Volunteer Fire Dept. After leaving school Tom tried several occupations but ended up returning home to work the family farm. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his moose hunting trips to Newfoundland and Cape Breton and the fishing trips to Moose Lake , N.B.
He is survived by his wife Diane, son Jeffrey (Melissa) of Moschelle, daughter Tracy (Mike) Turnbull of Quispamsis, NB; grandchildren: Madison, William, Lily and Molly. He was predeceased by his brother Ben.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. A memorial service will be held Friday August 7, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. from St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Annapolis Royal with Canon Ken Vaughan officiating. Ashes to be interned in St. John’s Anglican Church Columbarium, Moschelle. No flowers by request. Donations in memory may be sent to St. John’s Anglican Church Columbarium. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Ken Buchholz, the VON, Dr. Coubin and staff of the 4th floor at the VG Hospital.
