Obituary of Mary Theresa Moore

Moore, Mary Theresa, - 82, Round Hill, Annapolis County. It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Mary Theresa (Barteaux) Moore, in Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal, after a brief illness. Mary was a wonderful mother, wife and friend. Her greatest joy in life was to raise her family, her most valued treasures with her late husband, Zane. She was an accomplished crafts woman and seamstress spending many hours creating beautiful quilts, knitting, and crocheting items. She is survived by sons, Kevin and Kenneth (Susan), both of Beaverbank; daughter, Kimberley (David), New Ross; grandchildren, Sarah, Jamie, Kirk, Krystal; great granddaughter, Ella; sister, Ruby Gillis (John); brother, Andy (Barb); sisters-in-law, Zeita (Clyde) Bailey and Drenna Moore; brother-in-law, Neil Marshall; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by loving husband of 52 years, Zane; sisters, Goldie Schmitd (Frank), Muriel Godfrey (Stanley), Mildred Bouche, Margaret Guest (Orville), Laura Walker (John), Shirley Shaffner (Doug); brothers, Raymond (Marjorie) and Francis; sister-in-law, Zelda Moore Marshall; brother in-law, Zerald “Pook” Moore. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. Visitation will be held 10:00 am until service time at 11:00 am, Friday, September 25, in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bridgetown, with Canon Ken Vaughan officiating. Interment will be at 1:00 pm in Round Hill Cemetery. Sincere thanks to Dr. Buchholz and the entire palliative Care Team at Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal.
