Victor will be greatly missed by the Walker Family as not only a neighbour but a close family friend. He often would help Mel in the woods and kept his memory alive by often telling stories of things they would get up to, quoting Mel's wisdom freely. He would often bring us buckets of mackerel which meant there would be a lot of very fresh fish for supper. He would drop in for tea and tell us about his latest trades and who was the best mechanic for any current need if he couldn't fix the machine himself. He was a great part of Christmas Eve as each year one of us would take their turn and dress up as Santa to visit the Brittains. Things simply won't be the same around Upper Granville without him.
With love,
The Walkers

Dear Lottie,
I was so sorry to hear that your brother died. He was so much a part of the community. To me, he was Donna's kind and special 'chauffeur ', so I often spoke to him through the car window!!!
May he rest in peace. Though I can' t be with you, I shall hold you and Donna in my prayers.
Rev Liz
