Woodworth, Richard Brown – 75, of Granville Beach passed away April 15, 2016 in Granville Center. Born July 29, 1940, he was the son of the late Harlan and Goldie (Bent) Woodworth. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Sharon. He worked as a licensed auto mechanic for 20 years and then enjoyed his life on the road as a long-distance trucker until his retirement. He loved his Belgian horses, Jack, Jim and Barney, and pulling at local exhibitions. Richard also enjoyed playing guitar and singing, especially Country and Blue Grass Music, and spending treasured time with friends at Milbury Lake. Richard liked to collect and tinker on old tractors, and had a keen interest in genealogy. He is survived by his son, Michael (Jody), Granville Center; daughter, Monica (William Wamboldt), Upper Clements; step-daughters, Julie (Linwood Rice), Shelley (Keith Troop) Belleisle; Wendy Aptt, Granville Ferry; grandchildren, Michael Harlan Hume (Amanda), Eric and Margaret Woodworth; step-grandchildren, Evan Rice, Kyle (Theresa) and Kaitlyn Brown, Ashlee Aptt, Holly, Zachary, and Mary Rice; one great grandchild, Kyleigh; and his dog, Dodger. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. A graveside service will take place on Friday, April 22nd at 3 pm, in Wadeville Cemetery with Rev. Elizabeth Legassie officiating.
