Dear Mrs. Nickerson, I wanted to take a moment to send my belated condolences to you and your family on the passing of Mr. Nickerson. As a childhood friend of Nadine's from Alice St. School and the Burnyeat St. "crowed" of kids and having spent many times in your home with Nadine and Mr. Nickerson playing board games; "MovieMaker". Many fond memories were made of those days. As a matter of fact, I came across an old German currency note that Mr. Nickerson had given me for my "collection" during the days of my, probably at his encouragement, coin collecting. Many memories... Please accept my sincere, however belated, condolences and God bless, Jeremy

To the Nickerson Family, In August, former Truro Senior High School classmates are celebrating the 60's at a high school reunion. Many of us had the privilege to be a student of Mr Nickerson's at Truro Senior High School during that decade. At our last meeting the Steering Committee talked about Mr Nickerson and how his classes brought William Shakespeare and his works to life. These are only some of the comments: "I will never forget his classes. He brought such joy to his students." "He instilled a love of Shakespeare." "We had such fun. I could hardly wait for his class." "I was a teacher and I remembered Mr Nickerson and how he engaged his students and I tried to do the same." "We had some great laughs! He was a fantastic teacher." "A brilliant teacher." On August 5th we shall take a moment to fondly remember this great teacher who influenced so many during his lifetime. Our deepest condolences to the Nickerson Family. Sincerely, Carolyn (Gilroy) Edwards, Carol(Graham) MacDougald, Pat (Archibald) Brown, Carol (Embree) Patton, Geline Byers, Paige (Purdy) Moore, Sandra (Purdy) Carter, Sandra (Hall) Dill, Linda (Glinz) Ross, Tom Reid, Alison (Smith) McLean
