Obituary of Terry Edward Cress

Cress, Terry Edward Age 50 of Bridgetown, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born April 9, 1966, he was the son of Edward and Diane (Jelly) Cress, Bridgetown. Terry worked for TRA in the warehouse for over 28 years. He was an active member of the Bridgetown Volunteer Fire Dept. for 25 years and also enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing golf. Terry was also an avid video gamer especially with his nephew, Caleb but most of all he enjoyed spending time with all his family and friends. He was affectionately known as “Goof” to many of his family and friends. Terry leaves to mourn his loving parents, sister, Heather (Shaun) Howard and brother, Michael (Carin) Cress, both of Bridgetown. He will be dearly missed by his nephews, Caleb Cress and Nate Howard, niece, Kaelynn Howard. Terry was predeceased by his niece, Emma Rose Cress, his paternal grandparents, Vernon and Winona Cress and maternal grandparents, John and Edna Joudrey. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bridgetown. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 7 – 9 PM in the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. The funeral service will take place Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 2 PM from the Bridgetown Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Wallace officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown. Reception to follow at the Bridgetown Fire Hall. Donations in Terry’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Bridgetown Volunteer Fire Dept. or charity of one’s choice.
