Douglas, Anna and family,
We were sorry to learn of Vivian's passing. She represented an era to many of us growing up in Granville. She was a community and family minded person and gave so much, including those with whom she lived at Mountain Lea. Our thoughts and sympathy are with you at this time.

Douglas Walker, and other family members. Sad to hear of your mother, grand mother and great grand mother's passing. Hang on to all your wonderful memories, and I am sure you have many. Also open your Bible to John 5:28,29
it deals with the resurrection your mother will receive. All our love Del & Mary

Little Laurie's fond memories of our Aunt Vivian are everlasting. Many a time she was my nurse and her "sponge" baths were the best! Listening to the melodies coming forth from her piano as she practiced her hymns brought me great happiness over many years. Before cuisinarts, mixmasters, and electric frying pans; she alone could prepare festive feasts for any occasion on her wood stove. Over my many decades of loving her I can say I never heard an unkind word spoken by her about anyone. I will miss her hugs and kisses as I had to kneel down the last number of years as " I must have grown taller"! Aunt Vivian will be forever in my heart
