Belatedly I wish to add my condolence on Paul's passing to the many members of his extended family. The house in which I am living on Freeman Street, bought by my parents in 1971, had been beautifully renovated by Paul from the Coleman residence it had once been.He was a respected master craftsman.

Pauls natural way of connecting with people only magnifies the feelings of loss for family and friends.
The obituary refers to his love of canoeing in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Of the gang of six canoers Paul was definitely the best liked. Two of the gang, Winston Hunter and Maynard Shaw of Fredericton have also expressed their condolences. Bill Hart and Norm Webb who are no longer with us would be the first to say that Paul was one of the best buddy's to have on a canoe trip.
Today Winston, Maynard and I see Paul in his16 foot canoe out on the big Stillwater paddling with powerful strokes and in complete rhythm and sense of ease. Much in the same way he addressed life.
Although we feel a loss today we can remain proud and happy to have known Paul for the man he was and the influence he had on so many lives.
As Pauls racing partner and one of the group of six, I would like to extend my condolences to family and friends,
Co. worker and friend at Blunden Construction,
Joe Baltzer.

I will be unable to come to the service on Tuesday but will remember Paul and Phyllis always. My deepest sympathy to the family.
