Obituary of Neil Murray Bailey

Age 67, passed away quietly while in hospital, in Middleton. Born January 7 1950, in Annapolis Royal, Neil's zest for life lead him on many adventures around the world but he always returned to and called Round Hill his home. Neil spent many hours with friends and enjoyed playing and singing in local communities' jam sessions. He was a great lover of music and was rarely found far from his guitar. He spent time in nature and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping out and prospecting for gold. Neil, who believed in strong family ties, was dedicated to his boys and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Neil is predeceased by his mother Abby (nee Marshall) Bailey-Hall, father, Charles and step-father, George “Al”. Neil and ex-wife and lifelong friend, Brenda (nee Lewis) had sons Cory, wife Bonnie, Jody, wife Aline and Nicholas, wife Kourtney. Neil's grandchildren; Jozie, Colby, Colin and Matthew will miss him dearly. He will be greatly missed by his sister, Sharon, niece Julie and nephew Stewart. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. There will be a private, family grave site service at a later date. A “Celebration of Life” gathering will be held in the Round Hill Community Hall on Sunday March 19th 2017, at 2:00 pm.
