Obituary of Dorothy Lucy Marshall

Marshall, Dorothy Lucy – 94, of Annapolis Royal, formerly of Round Hill, passed away May 7, 2017 in the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. Born May 26, 1922, In Round Hill, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Grace (Syda) Fitz Randolph.  She was a great horse person, who raised Morgan horses. Enjoyed dancing, photography, drives and picnics.  She also enjoyed bible studies and taught Sunday school for many years, and enjoyed singing. Dorothy is survived by her husband, John ‘Jack’ Marshall; son, Robert (Norma) Bent, Wilmot; daughter, Ede (Ted) Weekes, Round Hill; grandchildren, Paula (Larry) Cress, Tina (Murray Gallant) Cress, Andrew Bent, Andria Bent, Kevin (Eliz) Marshall, Kevin (Donna) Weekes, Michael (Melissa) Weekes; six great grandchildren. Predeceased by her first husband, Donald Bent; sister, Elizabeth Barteaux; brothers, Evans and Oliver. A visitation will be held 2- 4pm Tuesday in the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. A private graveside service will be held 2pm Wednesday May 10, 2017 in the Round Hill Cemetery with Pastor Herb Anderson officiating. Donations in Dorothys memory may be made to a charity of choice.
