Inez Rita (Vroom) Crosby
With humbling strength I write my own obituary. Inez Rita (Vroom) Crosby, September 20, 1963 to July 6, 2017. Predeceased by my mother Elizabeth Louise (Warren) Vroom. I leave behind my darling Bob Crosby; stepsons, Cory (Stacey) Crosby, Alberta, Collin Crosby, Alberta, Daniel (Natasha) Crosby, Alberta; Grandchildren, McKinley, Logan, Alexander, Sophia; parents, Donald (Brenda) Vroom; brother, Carl (Angela) Vroom; sisters, Shelley (Andrew Oliver) Inwood, Sherri (Stephen) Bell, Ont., several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Frances Webb, Ont. I received my degree in Art and English at Acadia University as well as a diploma in Art Graphics at NSCC. Shortly thereafter I was diagnosed with a lifelong illness (Von Hipple Lindau Syndrome) which over time left me with a crippled body and mind. Overcoming these obstacles I continued with my art as best as I could and years of exercises and practice enabled me to write several children’s book. An onset of Cancer has now ended my story. Thank-you, Thank –you, Bob Crosby for giving me such a great adventure! Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. A funeral service will be held 2pm Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in the Old St. Edwards Church, Clementsport with Rev. Juanita Barteaux officiating. Donations in memory may be made to Palliative Care Unit at Annapolis Community Health Centre, Old St. Edwards Church, Clementsport or the Alzheimer’s/Dementia Association.
