Obituary of Goldie Mitchell Ellis

~~Ellis, Goldie Mitchell, 99 of Bridgetown passed away Sunday Oct.1,2017 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Paradise she was a daughter of the late James H. and Myrtle (Mitchell) Shearer.
She was a member of the Hampton United Baptist Church. Goldie enjoyed reading , rug hooking but especially loved painting . She would tole paint items in her home, as well as do many oil and water color paints many of which she donated for community fund raisers. Surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Wallace ; two daughters: Dixie and Sylvia Joy in  infancy; brother: Harvey; sister Beatrice.
There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service will be held
Friday October 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton United Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Randy Legassie   officiating. Burial will follow in the Hampton Cemetery. Donations may be sent to the Hampton Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home.
