Obituary of Neva Mae Sarty

Sarty, Neva Mae, 73 of Parkers Cove. passed away at the Annapolis Community Health Centre on March 15, 2018. Born in Youngs Cove she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Helen (Steadman) Hudson. She was employed with the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board for many years as a custodian and worked in her younger years at Britex. Neva enjoyed planting and tending her flower gardens which she took pride in making beautiful. She loved camping and spending time with family and friends.

Neva is survived by her husband of 52 years Lewis; children Shelley (Vaughn) Longmire of Ardoise, Christopher (Angela) Sarty of Hillsburn and Cynthia (Robert) Pettipas of Deep Brook; grandchildren: Devan (Lisa) Longmire, Keshia (Jacob) Hawkins, Alyssa (Joel) Thibault, and Dylan Pettipas; one great granddaughter Allison; brother Merle (Susan) Hudson of Kentville; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Edgar and a brother in infancy.

Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Sunday and Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday both from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal with Pastor Jeff George officiating. Reception to follow then a private family interment in Hillside Cemetery.
