Born August.27th, 1944 in Annapolis Royal to Wilbur and Clara Robinson. Carole, always known as the “little girl” by her family. Clara and Wilbur would finally have pink in their home. Predeceased by her husband Jim; older brothers, Roscoe, David and Wylie; who loved her dearly as their little sister. Carole attended Miss Murphy’s Business in Halifax where she graduated with her secretarial diploma. She would return back home and accept a position with the Scotiabank in Annapolis Royal. While in Halifax, she found the love of her life, Jim Simpson and would go on to marry living in Granville Ferry early on, near a gas station they owned and operated. They would build their first home on the Parker Mountain Road and welcome the birth of their 2 boys; James and John. Carole loved family and knew that caring for them was her calling. She decided to leave Scotiabank and pursue being a full time mom. Carole’s work revolved around her family, especially her boys. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for them and always with a smile. As her parents aged, she spent countless hours helping them. This would lead into her calling of working in Continuing Care where she was a “natural” and loved the work she did. Carole was a humble woman who gave unconditionally to so many that knew her, what a gift! She truly is admired for her selflessness. She was a Christian woman who was devoted to her Lord with all her heart. Carole loved to welcome visitors to her home. She certainly was charismatic and full of energy.
