Obituary of Hattie Beatrice Rafuse

Rafuse, Hattie Beatrice, age 98 formerly of Bridgewater, passed away on July 11, 2018 at Harbour View Haven in Lunenburg, NS. Born in Greywood, Annapolis County on December 19, 1919, she was the daughter of John and Annabelle (Mailman) Charlton. A gentle, loving person of great faith, Hattie is survived by her sons Phillip (Catherine) of Mississauga, Ontario and Edwin (Barbara),Pentz, NS; daughter-in-law Shirley Rafuse, Charlottetown, PEI; grandchildren Brian(Pam) Rafuse, Elizabeth (Allen) Harris, Christine (Dion) DiFebo, Angela (Andy) Walker, Jonathan Rafuse, Jamieson (Kelly) Rafuse, Jillian (Tony) Croft and eleven great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by husband Donald, sons Frederick and Gary; sisters Ida Charlton, Nina Smith, Mary Hogan, Vera Dunn and Leona Rafuse; brothers Percy, Walter and Ivan.  Hattie greatly appreciated the fellowship and care provided by the Staff at Harbour View Haven.  Funeral service will be held Monday, July 23, 2018, 2:00 pm from the Parker's Cove Baptist Church, Pastor Herb Anderson officiating.
