Obituary of Alan Warren Buckler
Buckler, Alan Warren, 54, of Lequille, Annapolis Co., passed away October 21, 2018, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Annapolis Royal, he was a son of the late Warren and Freda (Gillis) Buckler. Alan is survived by his wife, Holly (Ritchie); sons, Carson (Adelia), Berwick; Koby (Jena), Halifax and Nicholas, Annapolis Royal; granddaughter, Kaidalyn; sister, Diana Cress, Tantallon; brothers, Gary (Liz) West Dalhousie; John (Angela), West Dalhousie; sister-in-law, Grace, Lequille; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. A special mention to Gordon Ritchie for all the dedication and help over the many years, you are an invaluable member of the family. Alan was an active member within the Port Royal Branch No. 21, Royal Canadian Legion, Annapolis Royal. He enjoyed playing pool as well as darts and helping within the community when he could. Alan enjoyed spending time with his kids as well as his granddaughter. We would like to send a heartfelt thank-you to all the nursing staff on the medical unit at Soldiers Memorial Hospital for the fantastic care provided. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Port Royal Branch No. 21, Royal Canadian Legion, Annapolis Royal. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home. No visitation. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday October 26 in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Burial will take place at a later date.
