Obituary of Patricia Anne Thomas
Thomas, Patricia Anne – 82, of Bridgetown, passed away unexpectedly at home. Born in Carleton Corner, November 27, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Leta (Phinney) Everett. Patricia was a kind, generous, and loving woman who cared deeply for those around her. When she was younger, she sang in the United Church Choir, volunteered making meals and doing bake sales for the Bridgetown Fire Department, the Curling Club, and the 74th Crusader’s Motorcycle Club, of whom Robert was a member. She loved spending time and talking with her sons, granddaughters, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, and grandnieces, and helped raise most of them. She was a wonderful, beautiful woman, a great storyteller, and will be missed deeply by those who knew and loved her. Patricia is survived by her son, Christopher (Helen), Halifax; step son, John (Jacqueline) and their daughters, Jasmine, Lilli and Zoe, all of Duncan, BC; sister, Joyce Burbridge, Bridgetown; nephews, John (Cindy) and Jaye, both of Bridgetown; niece, Wendy (Brian), Port Hawkesbury. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert; niece, Judy MacAleese. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown, where a visitation will be held 2-4pm Saturday February 2, 2019. A private graveside service will be held at the later date.
