My condolences to the family of the late Doris O’Brien. Mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sister and my very good friend. It is so hard to lose someone no matter what the age, but I know you have good and loving memories to carry you through this difficult time. I didn’t see much of her after she left Dartmouth but I did think of her especially after her health started to fail. Doris and Clarence were so good to Elaine after Frank died, and I never forgot that. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Betty Lynch

I am so sorry for your loss. Doris was my godmother and I have such great memories of spending time with her both here in Dartmouth and also some weekend stays in the valley. She always sent me presents for my birthday and Christmas until I had to tell her a card was enough. She was always kind and generous and such a gentle soul. My deepest sympathy is with you as you mourn at this time but my childhood was brighter having Doris as a part of it. Thinking of you. Elaine MacDonald ( Lynch )
