Geraldine (Gerrie) Anne Everett
It is with deep sense of loss we the family announce the peaceful passing of Gerrie Anne Everett, just two months shy of her 86th birthday. She fought a brave four and a half month battle with cancer. She passed away on Saint Patrick’s Day March 17th surrounded by her loving and devoted family.
Born May 14th, 1935, in Aylesford, Kings County, NS. She was a daughter of the late Dennis and Bertha Theriault (Ameriault).
She was predeceased by the love of her life for over 60 years, husband, Dannie (2018), sisters, Theresa Leblance of Moncton, Marion Theriault, age 4 and a brother, Mike in infancy.
Her early working years were spent at the Navy Base Cornwallis DND, as a checker, presser, and seamstress. She was also the longest working “Avon” lady in Digby and Annapolis Royal, with just fulfilling an order days before her passing. She loved her crossword puzzles and weekly lexicon, Woman’s World Magazine, the beach and spending time with her girls and grandson.
She leaves behind some beautiful memories and sassy antidotes to her much loved daughters, Kimberly Ann Purcell (Paul), Cindy Mae Everett and her grandson, Daryl Ashley Daniel Rice, her pride and joy.
Also her special cousin, Johnny Turnbull, and nieces and nephews, Moncton, NB; a special cousin, Mary Collins, Annapolis Valley, N.S.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal.
A special “Thank you” to all the nurses and support staff from palliative care, and home care, as well as the wonderful guys and gals at EHS with the special patients program, as we couldn’t of gotten through this part of the journey with you! Also a special thank you to Simone Walker, and Carolyn Taylor for being our “Angels” in our time of need. Also the love and support from family and friends will never be forgotten.
A celebration of “Gerrie’s” life will take place at a later date when the weather is warmer and she can get her last ride in her favorite mustang to her final resting place.

“May the luck of the Irish be with you”
I am with you still even though you cannot see me!
Across the years I’ve walked with you,
In deep green forests, on shores of sand
And when our time on earth is through
In heaven too, you will hold my hand.
*** A Celebration of Life will be held 2 pm Sunday August 22, 2021 in the Good Samaritan Community Church, North Range, with Pastor Church Daniels officiating. Interment for both Danny and Gerry will follow in the Harbourview Cemetery, Smiths Cove. ***
