Dear Brenda, Brad, Rene and families. I am very sorry to read of your mom’s passing. When I hang clothes out on the line I often think of her and mom putting clothes out every day the sun shone, no matter what the season. May Eileen rest in peace.

We were very sad to learn of Aunt Eileen's passing. Our condolences to Eileen's extended family and friends, especially to Brenda, Bradley and Renee. When I was younger, we would travel to Cape Breton every second year to visit my father Vince's family. It was always fun to get reacquainted with Aunt Eileen, Uncle Howard and their kids. Martha and I were fortunate to meet with them several more times in later years. Aunt Eileen has lived a long, good life. Treasure your memories. Bill & Martha Clark, Ottawa

The staff and I at MLL will miss Eileen’s shine. She was sassy, glamorous, and hilarious. She made many days brighter and always brought a smile to many faces. My favourite question of hers was, “are you my buddy?” My answer to that is, “always”. Rest in Peace. My deepest condolences to her family.

Words can't express what you all must be feeling with the loss of your beloved Eileen. Such a ray of sunshine. She loved to sing "You are my Sunshine" and enjoyed others singing to her. One evening I help her get ready for bed and she asked me if I could sing. I told her only in the shower. She smiled and said, pretend you are there in the shower. So I did. I sang her "Coat of Many Colors" and she said "You did ok". Eileen loved her jewelry and hair clips, many that were purchased by her caregivers at MLL. She loved my jokes and sense of humor. But most of all, she loved life. I am so honored to have care for such a wonderful lady. To Brenda, your Mom loved you so much and enjoyed your visits. Her love for you was unconditional. Cherish your memories of her and your time together. I will miss her. RIP Eileen. You are home with your mother now.
