Obituary of Eileen Byna Clark

Clark(MacLeod), Eileen

1933-2023

 

Passed peacefully at Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown, in the wee hours of 1 September 2023 with family by her side. Born to the late Donald and Christine (MacDonald) MacLeod of Sydney NS, Mom lived most of her life in North Sydney. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Howard, a son in infancy, brothers Lester, Ralph and Blair, and sister Norma. She is survived by daughter Brenda (Steve) Forbes and son Brad (Leigh) Clark. She is also survived by several grandchildren, step grandchildren, her brother, Carman MacLeod, sister in law Margaret Marple, and brother in law Al Crowe, as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

The family wishes to thank the staff of Mountain Lea Lodge and the staff of Tibbetts home for Special Care for the loving care provided to Mom over the past 6 years.

 

Honouring Mom’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. Cremation has taken place, and private interment of her ashes will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Kaulbach Family Funeral Home in Bridgetown.

 

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the resident recreation fund at either Mountain Lea Lodge or Tibbetts Home for Special Care.
