To Brenda,family& extended family.
Sending along our deepest sympathy.
Terry was such a great example to what life should be. Always took the time to chat with a great smile and always up beat.
George worked with Terry way back in the Mark Leonards's days. We have had a few laughs George telling many stories of their working days. Never a dull moment with Terry.
Terry will be missed but never forgotten.
Sorry I won't be able to be at the service as planned.
Our thought and prayers will be with the family.

Terry always had a smile and was invariably cheerful. He was quite a character. It was so easy to like the man. He did a lot of work for me over the years and always got things fixed.
I am sorry that I shall not attend his service tomorrow, as, in this Covid world, I would not feel comfortable in the crowd. I shall think of him at that time and I wish his family well.

Brenda & family,
There are no words at a time when you lose someone you love ...
Our hearts are just broken for you all.
I write this mostly for Brian who knew Terry from Stenpro , then Kerr Controls; theirs quickly becoming more than a working relationship…. A deep friendship…… I got to know Terry, and you Brenda through many trips to Annapolis with Brian while working.
There are few people who you cross paths with in your life that only bring you joy, laughter and the love of true, solid friendship. . . . Terry was that person.
Never too busy to talk with you; a heart larger than life…. Do anything for anybody kind of man.
Remembering Terry always calling Brian ‘brother’ whenever he called or they saw each other. The two of them catching up with jokes…. Work issues, laughter. There was always laughter.
Terry will be deeply missed by the love of his life, Brenda…his children, grandchildren, brothers, family… friends, & the entire community.
Rest easy brother…. See you on the other side.
Sending much love and deep sympathy to all,
Judy & Brian McCarthy, Maplewood, N.S.

Over 20 years ago, we purchased a summer 'shack' in Phinney Cove. On our first visit there, we were overwhelmed -- everything needed to be fixed. Our first task was to get the furnace running (it was November). Terry was the first person we met there and I still remember that day like it was yesterday. He got the old furnace running and then proceeded to sit down on the floor (we had no furniture) and chatted with us as if we were old friends and had known each other all of our lives. Throughout the years, he was always more than 'the heating guy' -- he was someone we could trust for a repair, for a delivery of space heaters when the old furnace finally quit, for brainstorming solutions.
We send prayers and hugs and love to Brenda and his family. His kindness will not be forgotten.

Much love prayers and condolences to Brenda and all of Terrys family . I never knew anyone with a winning smile like Terry and the twinkle in his eye for a joke and tease. Loved it . We worked together at Mark Leonard’s store in Annapolis . I did the books and terry would joke with me to the point I got angry . He said I didn’t know you could use that big voice . He learned I could and I learned to settle down and have fun. He was the best person I ever worked with and we used to joke about this when we would see each other . A better friend no one could have . Loved you Terry , keep on having jokes and fun. Brenda take care, enjoy all your family and friends xo

One of my earliest memories of Terry was from grade 4 or 5. Duncan Barteaux and I were sitting in the back seat of the school bus and being immature boys when we flipped Terry the bird. He followed the school bus all the way to school where he ratted us out. We got called to the office and we're chewed out but not punished. The lesson I learned was to think twice before disrespecting people for no good reason. Rest in peace Terry and condolences to Natasha and the rest of your family.

For the 20 odd years I've known Terry, I can honestly say I never saw him in a bad mood. He was one of the most positive, cheerful, funny and kind people I have ever known. I loved it when he would drop by the house to report on some furnace or another I needed to have serviced. He would tell stories and we'd talk politics and when I got around to ask for the bill, he would tell me he didn't really know how much it was going to be and he'd get with me later. Always made me laugh! Now he'll be telling jokes to the angels in heaven, leaving us all to remember his joyful soul...

Brenda, Tasha, Lindsey and family:
I was so saddened to hear of Terry's death. I have nothing but fond memories of being at the lake in our MUCH younger years as teenagers. Even after we graduated from school, whenever I saw Terry, he stopped and took the time to speak to me and ask how things were and what was new. I am so sorry that I hadn't seen your father, Tasha, after he got sick. He was always so cheerful, funny, and ready for the "gossip". He will be missed by so many, myself included. He is now at peace and I am sure he is have a ball with his grandson, Nicholas. Love you all!!!
