Obituary of William Murrell

Murrell, William Joseph, 60 of Cornwallis, passed away May 3, 2013, in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in London, Ont., he was a son of the late Harry John and Dorothy Jean (Johnston) Murrell. Joe's passion was being a firefighter. He was also a dedicated member of the Ground Search and Rescue for many years. He worked as a security officer and member of the EMT Response Team at Michelin Tire in Bridgewater. He is survived by a twin brother, Jim Murrell of Ontario; sisters, Janice Turnbull and Barbara Frawley, both of Ontario.; step sons, Stephen (Louise) Wade of Port Lorne; Robert Wade of Digby; Gerald Wade of Digby; grandchildren, Cindy, Brody, Robert, James, Irving and Stephen Jr. He was predeceased by his wife, Edith. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bridgetown. A firefighter's funeral service and Celebration of Joe's life will be held June 1, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in the Bridgewater Fire Hall. Burial will be at a later date in Ontario.
