We sat today, In the late day sun out on the patio. Girls remembering their friend with the kind and generous heart. Talking about her love of family, us, strangers, creating beautiful things and quietly sharing her God-given talents. So we know she's not gone. We have known the blessing of Marilyn's earthly walk and are forever grateful to still feel the presence of her heavenly touch. God bless you, Dave, and your lovely family. Our love and prayers goes where you go.

Dearest Dave and Family,
A beautiful tribute for this beautiful lady. Marilyn in my memories always had a smile and a hug. You are all in my prayers for comfort and strength.
I am glad she was the same as I remembered when I saw her and Dave soon after mum's stroke. People come into each other's lives through God's grace and by His plan. I am thankful Marilyn and her family were part of our childhood and beyond. I remember her making delicious strawberry yogurt. Something I tried to copy but it was never as good - not even close. Prayers and big hugs sent to you all. God bless you with peace and love. Angie and boys

Dear Dave, we will miss Marilyn terribly. Our friendship with you and Marilyn goes back many years, and it was always a joy, when the door bell rang, and you both would walk right in. The day and time didn't matter. We would have tea together, and laugh, and lots of time tears would be shed as we shared with each other.
We always felt uplifted after you left, as there was always a prayer and something encouraging, or a word said to us that was of comfort! Then sometimes it was just sitting and talking about the past, or more often about our children.
Your message today, and last Sunday, both, were wonderful witnesses, and Marilyn would have been proud of you, as you were her "love of life!."
Our prayers are with you, and with your family. Our door is always open....
Love Bob and Paula

Dear David and other family members
Expressing heartfelt sympathy, at this very difficult time, to you as a family. Remembering Marilyn as a very gentle, kind and loving person with a beautiful smile. Words can never convey the depth of your sense of loss; but, may it help to know that others care deeply for you in this your time of sorrow. A friend of mine expressed what a good many people feel in these words "Marilyn was one in a million! She was beautiful inside and out living her faith as an example to all."

It is with sadness and a heavy heart that I think of all Marilyn's family. I cannot say especially her grandchildren even though she was such an important part of their lives. She was so loved by all her family and everyone who knew her, including her church family.
My four sons, spread across Canada, have each expressed their shock and disbelief. They wished to have condolences extended to the family.
We do not weep as those who have no hope. We shall rejoice with her again!

Many thoughts are with you Dave, and to the family of an amazing woman. I am so glad that I had that time with her looking at all the pictures of your recent trip.
She always had a way of making people feel at ease. That caring and gentle look where she would slightly tip her head and come out with that wide open smile. Then the roll of her eyes to tease you.
Another angel gained her wings and will always be there to pick you up and carry you through anything.

Dear Dave,
We were saddened to hear about Marilyn's passing. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.
We fondly remember Marilyn and the enjoyable times spent together at Springwater Habitation. Her spirit was radiant and effervescent. Her love for life was infectious and she lifted the spirits of all who came into contact with her.
With her sudden passing, I am sure you haven't even begun to process all that has happened this week. We only hope that as time passes you will be comforted in remembering all the warm and wonderful ways that Marilyn showed her love for the Lord by helping others.

Dave and Family,
My family send our sincere and heartfelt thoughts and prayers to each of you at this time of such sadness at the loss with Marilyn's passing.
I will always keep my memories of my many chats with Marilyn over the years here at Wilson's and sometimes at the tourist bureau during the summers that she worked there. She was a joy to talk with. My family remember her as well, especially my son, Adam, he enjoyed her friendliness to him at the Pines Golf Course Club House during his high school and university years when he worked there at the same time she worked there. He also sends you his heartfelt condolences.
Thinking about you with love and prayers,
Phyllis Vree (Marshall)
